Established in 1995, BK Steel & Profiles specialises in profile cutting services and supplies a wide variety of steel solutions to commercial and industrial clients throughout South Africa.

From a single cut to thousands of cuts; we are able to cut mild steel plates to meet exact specifications. Heavy steel plates are used in demanding applications that require both high strength and hardness. An important step in the production of these components is cutting the plates with a cost-effective thermal cutting method such as flame cutter. Flame cutting is performed with a controlled flame and oxygen jet which burns the steel and forms a cutting edge.

Our service offering includes CNC profile cutting, where we utilise some of the world’s finest profile cutting systems including our flame cutting service wherein metals are cut using a thermo-chemical process.

We cut mild steel plates ranging from 6mm – 300mm in thickness according to the client’s specific design and specifications. Most of our customers manufacture automotive components, jigs and fixtures, tool and die making, mould-making as well as industrial automation.

BK Steel & Profiles conveniently offers a door-to-door service to our clients within the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng regions.
